Division Discriptions

T-Ball - Ages 4-5

-This Division is to introduce kids to the sport of baseball. The goals are to instruct players in the fundamentals of baseball, experience the value of teamwork and have fun. They will work off a Tee and possibly move to Coach Pitch as the season progresses.

-Games will last 45 minutes, 60 minutes maximum allowed to finish an inning. No score is kept.

-Players in this Division do not need to attend player evaluations in January. 

 

Single A - Ages 5-6

-This Division is to introduce kids to the sport of baseball. The goals are to instruct players in the fundamentals of baseball, experience the value of teamwork and have fun. They will start off with the Tee and then move to coach pitch as their skills improve throughout the season.

-Games will last a max of 6 innings or 60 minutes. No score is kept.

-Players in this Division do not need to attend player evaluations in January.

 

AA - Ages 6-8  

-This Division is to continue the basic fundamentals, while introducing a higher level of competition. This is a combination of coach pitch and kid pitch. 

-Games will last a max of 6 innings and no new inning may begin after 90 minutes. Score is kept, the Mercy Rule is in effect, and an end of the season tournament will be held.

-Teams are formed through evaluation and a Draft.

-Players in this Division will need to attend Player Evaluations in January.

 

AAA - Ages 8-10
(8’s can play up but need to attend tryouts to be considered) 

- This Division is to provide further improvement on skills while competition increases. This is player pitch and continues improvement on the knowledge of the game. This division may travel to local cities for interleague play.

-Games are a max of 6 innings and no new inning may start after 2 hours. There is no hard stop. Score is kept and the Mercy Rule is in effect.

-Tournament of Champions and All-Stars begin at this division, and they get their first opportunity to represent the league in tournament play.

-Teams are formed through tryout evaluation and a Draft.

-Players in this Division will need to attend Player Evaluations in January. 

 

Majors - Ages 10-12
(10’s can play up, but need to attend tryouts to be considered)  

- This Division continues the growth and development of skills at a much higher level of competition. Representing the league in tournament play as well as potential to be in the Little League World Series representing their State, Region & Country in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  This division may travel to local cities for interleague play.

-Games are a max of 6 innings and no new inning may start after 2 hours. There is no hard stop. Score is kept and the Mercy Rule is in effect.

-Teams are formed through tryout evaluation and a Draft.

-Players in this Division will need to attend Player Evaluations in January. 

 

Intermediate (50/70) - Ages 11-13  

-This Division offers a transition for players between the Little League Field Size and Junior Field Size.

-Players are required to attend tryouts to be considered for the 50/70 Team. This Division will be on the waitlist until after Tryouts.

-Formation of the 50/70 Team, if there is one team, is determined based on tryouts alone. If more than one team, then it will be based on tryouts and a draft. This division will travel to local cities for interleague play.

-Players in this Division will need to attend Player Evaluations in January. 

 

Juniors - Ages 12-14  

- This Division is for players honing their abilities at the highest levels of competition. Played on a regular sized baseball field. This division will help prepare players for the next levels of play: high school, and so on. 

-This Division will be on the waitlist until after Tryouts. Formation of the Team, if there is one team, is determined based on tryouts alone. If more than one team, then it will be based on tryouts and a draft.  This division will travel to local cities for interleague play.

-Players in this Division will need to attend Player Evaluations in January. 

 

Seniors 

Description to Come!  This division will be based on registration numbers.
