Farm Rules
  1. COACH PITCH GAMES: Games are limited to 6 innings. Playtime will be limited to 2 hours during Coach pitch games.  No new inning should BEGIN after 1 hour and 40 minutes from the scheduled start of the game, including the last game of the day.  Weeknight games, no new inning will start after 1 hour and 50 minutes from the scheduled start of the game.  Games can end in a tie. There will be no standings in farm. 
  2. PLAYER PITCH GAMES: Games are limited to 6 innings. Playtime will be limited to 2 ½  hours during Player pitch games.  No new inning should BEGIN after 2 hour and 10 minutes from the scheduled start of the game, including the last game of the day.  Weeknight games, no new inning will start after 2 hour and 20 minutes from the scheduled start of the game.  Games can end in a tie. There will be no standings in farm. 
  3. Each inning is limited to 10 batters, 3 outs or 5 runs, including the last inning.  Complete roster hits in the batting order. The mercy rule is not in effect.
  4. PITCHING:  Coach pitch from the rubber until May 1st. A batter will receive 6 pitches or 3 strikes, the 6th pitch can be fouled off until fair or until batter strikes out.  Walks are not permitted.  Beginning May 1st players will pitch. No runs can be walked in if bases are loaded, with 3 balls in the count the coach will come in to pitch and can only pitch 3 pitches to that batter. The batter keeps their count. The batter will either hit the ball or be called out on strikes.  Foul ball on last pitch, batter receives another pitch.  Batter may continue to foul balls off.   At which time the player pitcher will come back into pitch. 
  5. PITCHERS:  Green Book rules apply for pitching eligibility.  Players can only pitch 2 innings or 40 pitches per week maximum. The Official Score Keeper is responsible for tracking pitch count. (foul ball equals a pitch in the pitch count)  Adults cannot warm up pitchers. 
  6. RUNNERS:  The batter and base runners will wear batting helmets at all times.  If a player voluntary removes his helmet, the player will be called out.  Catcher must wear facemask and throat protector at all times.
  7. Sliding is permitted.  Intentional sliding headfirst will be called out, unless returning to the bag.  Stealing bases is not permitted.  Bunting is not permitted. Players cannot leave the base until ball has reached the batter.  If runner leaves early they will be sent back to base.   
  8. BATTERS:  Batter will get 1 warning for throwing bat.  Batter will be called out for throwing bat a second time.  Umpire shall declare ball dead.
  9. DECORUM:  Swearing, foul language, derogatory or inflammatory statements by Managers, Coaches, players or parents is grounds for immediate ejection and suspension.
  10. 2 Adult base coaches are allowed on offense.  No coaches are allowed in the field on defense. A minimum 1 bench coach is required in the dug out at all times.
  11. PLAYTIME:  Defense consists of a pitcher, catcher, 4 infielders and 4 outfielders at least 10 feet behind outfield arc.  No player can play in the infield more then 3 innings in any game.  This rule does not include pitcher when players are pitching. (The pitcher may have played in the infield prior to pitching, or be moved to an infield position after pitching, as long as he does not play more than 3 innings at an infield position, pitcher excluded.)  Tracy Little League line up card will be used and distributed to other team prior to the game.
  12. Play shall end when the pitcher has possession of the ball inside the pitching circle.  There is no halfway line in the base path.  If the runner has not reached the base prior to the end of play, the runner shall return to the previous base.  If 2 runners are between the same bases, the lead runner determines which bases are awarded.
  13. CATCHERS:  All catchers shall wear proper safety equipment, including a cup for male players.  Hurry up rule will be in effect.  If the catcher of the next inning is on base with 2 outs, a substitute runner shall be used.  Said runner shall be the player who made the second out.  This will allow the catcher to put on all safety equipment prior to end of inning.
  14. UMPIRES:  Coaches will umpire their own games until 5/1 at which time an umpire will be supplied.  Base coaches will call foul balls.
  15. No player can be picked up after May 2nd, 2008.     
  16. There will be no make games played except in extreme circumstances.
